⬜ Item Sales Report by Groups 

The "Item Sales by Groups" report is one of the most important daily monitoring tools in the Aurest system. It helps management analyze the consumption of food items and products with precision, categorized by groups, printers, or classifications. This report provides a clear view of quantities consumed and their cost, supporting improved inventory management and enabling real-time decisions to ensure smooth operations.

✅ How to Access the Report

To access the report, follow this path:

From the side menu ➤ Reports ➤ Item Sales Report by Groups

Once selected, the report setup screen will appear for you to define the desired filters before displaying the results.

1️⃣ Report Settings (Filtering Stage)

When the settings interface opens, you can configure the following options:

➤ Date Type:

• Invoice Date: Displays data based on the invoice issue date.

➤ Time Period:

• From Date: Select the start date of the period (e.g., 2025-07-01).

• To Date: Select the end date of the period (e.g., 2025-07-25).

➤ Display Method:
Choose how the data will be organized in the report:

• Item Groups: Display each item separately within its group.

• Classification: Organize data by item category.

• Printers: Show data based on the assigned printer.

➤ Show Details:
By enabling this option, the report will include full details for each item within its group.

➤ Display Report:
Once all filters are set, click the "Display Report" button to view the data.

2️⃣ Report View (Data Interface)

Once the report is displayed, the interface includes:

➤ Main Table:
The table includes the following columns:

• Item: The name of the item or product.

• Quantity: The quantity consumed during the selected period.

• Price: The unit price of the item.

• Total: The total cost of each item.

• Group: The group to which the item belongs.

✳️ You can reorder columns by clicking and dragging the column headers.

➤ Summary Sidebar:
On the right side of the screen, a summary displays:

• Total Quantities: The overall quantities consumed for each group.

• Total Amount: The overall cost of items by group.
  
  

3️⃣ Additional Tools:

• Preview: Review the report before printing.

• Export: Save the report in PDF or Excel format.
