The Kitchen Display Screen is one of the key extensions in the Aurest system. It is used within the preparation area (kitchen) to display customer orders in real-time and in an organized manner. The application runs on Android devices and receives orders directly from the Captain Aurest app or from the POS system, offering an efficient way to improve kitchen performance and reduce reliance on paper tickets.



✅ What is the Kitchen Display Screen?

The Kitchen Display is a smart application that runs on Android devices and connects directly to the Aurest system database. It displays orders in real time as soon as they are created by the captain or cashier, presenting them clearly to speed up preparation and reduce human error.


✅ How Does the Kitchen Screen Work?

1️⃣ Install the Application:

Install the Kitchen Display app on an Android device placed in the kitchen or preparation area.

2️⃣ Receiving Orders:

The application immediately displays orders upon receiving them, accompanied by a clear sound notification.

3️⃣ Displaying Order Details:

The screen shows order type, table number, time, and the name of the server (if available).

4️⃣ Updating Order Status:

With one click, the order status can be changed to “Ready,” which will automatically appear on the customer waiting screen (if enabled).

The Kitchen Display is fully integrated with the Aurest system and the Captain app.

Once an order is placed via Captain Aurest or the POS:

The order is instantly sent to the kitchen screen.

The system displays the full order details.

The kitchen team can follow and execute orders with precision.
