System information management and logout

⬜ System Information & Logout Management

In the Aurest system, the "System Information & Logout Management" section is designed to provide users with smart tools that ensure stable system operation and data security. This section includes several essential features such as version updates, license activation, technical support requests, as well as secure logout and user-switching tools. These tools are a core component of a professional and secure operational environment for restaurant and café management.



✅ First: Information Screen

When accessing the "Information" section, you’ll find three main tools focused on maintaining system stability and performance:

1️⃣ Check for update

Function:
Update the system to the latest official version.

How to Use:

  • Click the "check for update" button.

  • The system will check for any available updates.

  • If updates are available, they will be downloaded and installed automatically without manual intervention.


2️⃣ Activate Program

Function:
Confirm activation of the current version using a license key.

How to Use:

  • Click "Activate Program."

  • A window will appear showing the activation details:
     ▪ Application Name: Aurest Restaurants
     ▪ Activation Key
     ▪ Expiry Date
     ▪ Invoice Limit: Unlimited

⚠️ Note: These details are used to verify the license validity and ensure it is legally and properly activated.

3️⃣ Technical Support

Function:
Send technical support requests directly to the support team.

How to Use:

  • Click the "Technical Support" button.

  • A window will appear with fields to fill in:
     ▪ Issue Title
     ▪ Detailed Description

  • After completing the form, click "Send" to submit your request directly to the support team.


✨ Purpose of the Information Screen

  • Keep the system updated for stable performance

  • Ensure proper and legal license activation

  • Quickly resolve any technical issues through direct support


✅ Second: Logout Screen

The "Logout" screen provides four tools for session management and secure user switching:

1️⃣ Cancel Action

Icon: A square with outward-pointing arrows
Function: Return to the previous screen without ending the session
When to Use: When you want to exit the current screen without logging out of the system


2️⃣ Switch User

Icon: A user head with a headset
Function: Log out the current user and log in with a different account
When to Use: When switching between supervisor and cashier, or between staff members


3️⃣ Logout

Icon: Two opposing arrows
Function: Log out from the current database to access another database or log in as a different user
When to Use: When switching between different branches or business units


4️⃣ Exit Program

Icon: Power button
Function: Completely close the system
When to Use: At the end of the day or after finishing work—ensure all data is saved beforehand

  • Secure and professional session management

  • Prevent unauthorized access

  • Enable smooth user transitions without data loss

  • Ensure safe and complete system shutdown after use
