The Customer Display Screen is one of the modern and advanced add-ons in the Aurest system. It is designed to enhance the customer experience at the point of sale by providing real-time, interactive order visibility, along with instant payment options.



✅ What is the Customer Display?

The Customer Display is a smart application that runs on Android devices and is positioned in front of the customer during order entry at the cashier. It displays item details, totals, and any updates to the invoice in real time.

This screen supports instant payment options, whether through a connected payment terminal, QR code, or digital wallet—making it an efficient tool for increasing transparency and facilitating transactions.


✅ Key Features of the Customer Display:

Live Order Display:
Each item added to the order is instantly shown on the screen with its price and quantity.

Real-Time Invoice Updates:
The screen reflects order totals, taxes, and discounts as they are applied.

Modern Payment Integration:
Customers can pay using:

  • A connected bank payment terminal

  • QR code

  • Digital wallet (depending on system setup)


✅ Steps to Connect the Customer Display to the Aurest System:

1️⃣ Launch the application on an Android device.

2️⃣ Login Screen Appears, prompting for:

  • User password

  • Proper access rights to reach the settings

3️⃣ Enter the connection settings, including:

  • Database name (linked to the Aurest system)

  • Server IP address

  • SQL Server username

  • Password

  • Restaurant’s Tax Record Number

4️⃣ Enter the Customer Generated Key:

✍️ Note:
To get the device key:

  • Go to Integration Settings > Customer Display in the Aurest system

  • Assign and copy the key for the target device

  • Paste it into the application

5️⃣ Save settings to begin using the display screen.

Once connected and the cashier begins the order, the screen shows:

  • Added items with name and quantity

  • Price per item

  • Total order amount

  • Available payment options based on system configuration
