The Total Sales Report is one of the essential monthly reports in the Hyper Aurest system. It provides a comprehensive, aggregated overview of total sales activity over a defined time period. This includes the number of invoices, total amounts, taxes, discounts, and a breakdown by order types and payment methods. The report serves as a powerful tool for gaining quick insight into the overall financial performance of your business.



What is the Total Sales Report?

This report presents a precise summary of the business’s sales over a selected time period. It includes key statistics such as:

  • Total number of issued invoices

  • Gross sales value

  • Applied discounts and additions

  • Taxes (including VAT and excise tax, if applicable)

  • Net sales after applying all adjustments

  • Total service charges (if applicable)

In addition, the report provides a detailed breakdown by:

  • Order types (Dine-in, Takeaway, Delivery, etc.)

  • Invoice status (Closed, In preparation, Returns)

  • Payment methods (Cash, Card, Credit...)

 ✳ This report is mainly used to monitor overall financial performance and analyze revenue trends throughout the month.


Available Filters in the Report

Before generating the report, you can customize the results using the following filters:

  • Time period: From date – To date

  • Branch: Select a specific branch or all branches

  • User: Filter results by the employee who processed the invoices

  Once filters are set, click the "Show" button to display the results.


Report Content

Upon generating the report, you’ll get a summarized overview including:

  • Total number of invoices issued within the selected period

  • Total invoice value before discounts

  • Discount and addition amounts

  • Taxes applied (VAT and excise)

  • Final net sales value

  • Total service charges (if enabled)

The report also includes a breakdown by:

  • Invoice types (Dine-in, Delivery, Applications, etc.)

  • Invoice status (In preparation, Closed, Returns)

  • Payment methods (Cash, Card, Credit...)

At the end of the report, a brief invoice summary is shown with the range of invoice numbers, total count, and financial values.

  The report can be exported to Excel or PDF, or printed directly for administrative or accounting use.
