(أ) Main Page (Settings)
When you access the "Information" section, you’ll see a page with three main options:
1️⃣ Update Version
▪ Description:
This option allows you to update the system to the latest available version.
▪ How to Use:
- Click the "Update Version" button.
- The system will check for available updates.
- If updates are found, they will be downloaded and installed automatically.
2️⃣ Activate License
▪ Description:
This option allows you to activate the current version of the system using an activation code.
▪ How to Use:
- Click the "Activate License" button.
- A window will appear with activation details such as:
Application Name: Aurest Restaurants
Activation Code:
Expiration Date:
Maximum Invoices: Unlimited
- You can use this information to ensure the license is properly activated.
3️⃣ Technical Support

- Click the "Technical Support" button.
- A window will appear with fields to submit a support request:
Issue Title: Enter the name or type of issue.
Issue Description: Enter the issue details thoroughly.
- After filling out the details, click "Send" to submit your request to the support team.

1️⃣ Cancel (Exit the icon)

▪ Description:
This icon is used to return to the previous screen without fully logging out of the system.
▪ How to Use:
- Click the icon to cancel the current action and return to the home page or previous screen.
▪ Note:
This option does not log you out but simply returns you to where you were before starting the current process.
2️⃣ Switch User (From admin to cashier)

Appears as a head with a headset.
▪ Description:
This icon is used to switch the current user to another (e.g., from admin to a staff user).
▪ How to Use:
- Click the icon to open the login window.
- Log out the current user.
- Log in the new user using their username and password.
▪ Note:

3️⃣ Logout (Logout from the database and login to another one)
▪ Icon:
Appears as two opposing arrows.
▪ Description:
This icon is used to log out temporarily, allowing you to choose a different database or log in as a different user.
▪ How to Use:
- Click the icon to log out of the current session.
- The login window will appear again.
- You can now select a different database or log in as a new user.

4️⃣ Close (Close the program completely)

Appears as a Power Button.
▪ Description:
This icon is used to completely shut down the system and end the current session.
▪ How to Use:
- Click the icon to close the program.
- All windows and data related to the system will be closed.
▪ Note:
When using this option, make sure to save all changes before final shutdown.
